Marlin 94 help please

A friend of mine has a very clean 94 in 44mag, only problem is the lifter is broken and have not been able to locate one. Have tried Jack Firsts and Numrich. Any ideas on where to find one?

I just sold a Giraud power timer with set up for .223, 300 BO, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 308. Seemed to work well but I do not shoot enough anymore to justify it.

Only 44 Special have ever had was an older CA Bulldog I used to carry. Loaded 200 grain JHP shot very well for such an inexpensive revolver and while I never had to use it for its main purpose it did work well on trapped hogs.I think I sold the last of my Bullets and brass to someone here a few year...

Sperm whale oil was used in atf and limited slip differentials
as a friction modifier until it was no longer available. And no synthetic has ever been made that works as well in these applications.

I likes 180 grain round nose over varget in mine. But I used it as a woods /walking gun. Dig a great job on deer and hogs.

I have a couple of the cva hunter rifles, which is the lower priced version without muzzle break and such. A 7mm08 and a 45/70. Both have excellent triggers and can shoot better than my ability.

Have had mine for quite awhile now. Shoots great, will blow up an armadillo. Is based off of 223 case to handle higher pressure and uses 38 super mags. They also are making 22tcm9r which is same length as 9x19 so can use those mags. I fitted mine with a 38 super upper half as well.

Had a trailboss/52 grain cast bullet load that was subsonic and shot pretty good in my single shot and bolt .223 but never tried,in my gas guns. Lost interest when I finally got another 22 Hornet. That cast bullet over a dab of Bullseye does a great job at quiet pest control.

I have a busnell monocular . Works pretty good but batery life is low. Nice part about it was came with mount so you could use with NV compatible red dot as a weapons sighting system.

However I learned from Hornady that the XTP is NOT for rifle velocities. My Henry 41 shoots the 210s very well but according to them 1800 fps will turn it inside out! I'd stick to cast or jsp. I have only shot an M1A one time. A buddies Loaded with a Springfield badged I believe 4-16 scope shooting Gold Medal Match. I had no problems hitting steel torsos out to 800 yards from a bench from a bag rest. His could be an exception but is my only hands on experience shooting one.

I got a crossbow a few years back when my right hand stopped working as it should. When I finally got my hand squared away last year I gave it to a friends grandson and got the compound out of the closet. Then my shoulder started acting up so I gave it to a guy from work. Getting old sucks.

Nice! I have one pre 64 Model 70 and it was in 06. Rifle looked and shot great, I just never could get a deer with it. Hunted with it a bunch for several years but never saw anything legal to shoot while carrying it.

I have shot both, some rifles seemed to prefer one over the other but not by a wide margin. The deer and pigs I shot with them could not tell the difference.

Ya, big nothing burger here on east east coast, i lost power for about 10 hours because of one tree but have seen no other damage. I went into work at 7 ,but none of the parts suppliers were open so called it and came home after 2 hours.

When I first bought my house folks leased the pasture and crop land behind my house to dove hunt. They caused enough ruckus that I could usually limit out sitting in my back yard. Jambalaya was the usual result. Then the property got turned into a golf course.

Some dealers will not accept shipment from a non ffl but most will. Just put a statement in the add that shipping will be more expensive if it has to go through an ffl, and of course make sure your local ffl is willing to do so and find out how much he will charge.

I put a Sig Romeo 5 on a Marlin 1895 just to see how it would do compared to the Williams Receiver sight I had on it before. Worked great out to 100 yards, which is as far as I tried it until I let a buddy try it out and he just had to have it. Same sight on an ar makes 300 yards shots easy so long ...

In my early 20s I worked on golf courses for a few years. Had a lot of seat time running Toro Greens Master triplex and 7 and 9 gang real mowers. The 9 gang mowers would make a cut 22 feet wide if I remember right.
