Ga hunting

Finally got a chance to go up to my friend Bob's place in SW Ga last week. Took a 130lb spike with the #3 45/70 at about 80 yards on Monday. It went about 50 yards after the shot. Tuesday went walking with the Savage model 99 in 300 Savage. Jumped 2 deer shot the bigger one at about 50 yards. It wen...

Fish and wildlife officers deal with people who make mistakes all the time, most of the time they are pretty lenient if you fess up. Years ago in Mi I shot a spike buck on a field edge, when I started to recover him I discovered the doe that was in the brush a few yards back that I never saw. I call...

Used fuel stick pocket warmers a lot when I was young, never had any problems. Yes you could put out and relight, but they were so cheap was not worth bothering with. That was a long time ago though so don't know how things have changed.

Probably a lot of truth there, especially in today's world. I would be an exception today I guess. When I was renting places in my 20s I kept them up perfectly. Now as an owner I let some stuff slide I would not have done as a renter.
