I graduated High School in 1983, and we had guns in the vehicles during hunting season. No one thought anything of it. Fights were one on one with fists. Anyone who took a buddy to help him or who used a buddy to help bully anyone else was whipped by someone who didn't care for such rotten behavior....

I learned to eat grits while Uncle Sam was telling me what to do, when to do it, and how high to jump. Tomato gravy sounds good on them. We used to have grits in the morning with watery eggs and bacon that had somehow had the flavor removed. The grits were the best tasting part of the meal.

I have shifted a few times without using the clutch on a manual, but my last manual had a lockout and wouldn't allow for that. The gear shift was locked in place until the clutch was pushed in. Not very user friendly.

Just my limited experience, but for bigger game, penetration is a prime concern. A Keith style or an LBT style bullet will punch pretty deep while staying straight. Would a section of a garden hose work? I have a few pieces of garden hose around kept for odds and ends from a hose which split when it froze. They typically handle heat up to about 150 to 170 degrees if you get the better grade of hose. You could try something like that.

Heat lamp, or a regular incandescent bulb to keep it just warm enough to cure within 24 hours or thereabouts has worked for me in the past. It will cure in 40 to 50 degree temperatures just fine, just a little slower than at 70 degrees or above.
