I've got 3 44mag levers and none are a B-92. But most any published load will be well received by the 92. You just got to find the bullet and the charge that works best.

2400 and H110 are the goto powders and any 240gr or 300gr (.430) are the goto bullets.

pharmseller, I think one of the best options would be the Bushnell Banner/ Dusk to Dawn 1.5x4.5 32mm scope. I had one one on my Marlin 1894c and at 100yd / 200yd a paper plate is very visible. I like them so much, one sits on my 357 and 44 Trappers, Marlin 1894 44, and Marlin 30-30. Excellent scopes...

I don't think I've ever been without a sidearm in the woods be it camping, hunting or offroading. The one I choose depends on which lever I'm packing in the jeep. But it's either a 357blackhawk, 44mag (either Vaquero or SBH) or a 22lr Single Six. Never had to use for any defensive reasons and hope I...

Good on you for getting out there wth him.

I remember having one as a kid, we had an old tire swing that I attached a pie pan to. I'd have my brother swing it sideways for a moving target. We'd practice shooting from every position at up to about 25yds away.

Best time as a kid I can remember.

Oh, it'd probably still be called Pennsylvania...it's just that we wouldn't be called the US.

And anyone who has dealt with as many guns as the seller has should know it's been ground down just by looking at it.

I 've heard rumor they made a Stainless Black Shadow win94 once, though. I think it was a special order for a Shot show or something. But nothing for mass production.

Well, I'm pretty sure the event coordinator's voice mail will be full come today and Burt's voice mail Monday morning. Anyway, Nevada is a great gun state and the only thing likely to happen is Gatling Guns just lost a tremendous amount of business. I'm doubting this will have very little effect for...

Well, it came off of my 1957 Marlin 39a that I picked up a week ago, I ordered the original style sight from Numrichs already. Now, I'm wondering about what kind of age this thing has on it and if any kind of value. I'm thinking about putting it on Ebay to kind of offset some of the cost of the 39a ...

Help identifying rear sight

Anyone got an idea as to who made this and it's age and what it was rifle it was made for. The reversible diamond insert has a "V" notch and a "U" notch on it. I'm pretty sure the "R" is the first intial of the mfg. but can't think of anything other than Redfield or Rem...

Well, it is your money after all so I wouldn't feel right telling you how to spend it but since you asked... Considering that one is used... with installed sling swivel in the buttstock... it's been shot... with few handling marks...and more than likely no box or paperwork... I wouldn't pay more tha...

LOL ! I'm telling ya' guys... It works. Went back to the Gunshow today for that Single Six I was after (wife's thinking tops $250) Instead came home with a 5.5" Ruger Super Blackhawk that I paid $375 for. Told the wife, and she said, I quote... "Well, at least you got something you already...

Now all you got to do is keep the mag tube filled and just cycle till your arm gets tired.

Hopefully it'll work out the bugs in the process...or just present a more visible explanation the next time it jams.

Got out to the field today with a few targets and a couple hundred CCI Stingers. Since I only have open sights I figured it was going to take a bit of shooting. I stepped off 50yds and put up a 2ft x 2ft cardboard with four 2.5" flourescent sticky notes. Fired 5 shots at the first target and wa...

:) I've had too many times of coming home with another new toy and no money... The success was in getting the money, getting home and handing my lovely wife all the money. So next time when I do come home with something else I don't need, there won't be any muss or fuss. Just an "Ok honey"

Gunshow Success...Didn't buy anything.

Headed to the gun show this morning to see about another Ruger Single Six. I carried my Marlin 336RC, Beretta 96d, and Ruger P89 for trading/selling. Got in line but never made it inside the door. All 3 sold within 20 minutes of me getting out of my Jeep...and for a lot more than expected. :) I figu...

Well J, Every Marlin, except my 336RC mfg 1953, has done it. from my 30as, 336a, 1894c, and 1894. After every incident I did exactly as you did. Then I got home and cleaned all the internal parts, took some 400grit wet sand and lighlty polished and and re-assembled it. Before I went back out to the ...

My "New" Marlin 39a Mountie. Now w/ Range report

Got this last Sunday from a not too local seller. He lived about 75 miles away. Anyway, it was made in 1957, and aside from the few nicks on the stock, this thing is practically like new. It has fed and fired everything I've put through it so far. Aguila Colibri, CCI Stingers, Velocitors, mini mags,...

J,

That was almost the first thing I noticed as well. I wonder if it was actuall sighted in that way or if it has any benefit.

Not only that, but it looks like the safety is on too
