Re: Winchester Model 1876 Question...
I agree with that Dusty Texian. I have owned a couple of 45-75 and feel that is the best cartridge. That being said, all I have now is a 76 in 45-60. It was worked on and given new life, with a relined barrel. Sweet shooter from 100-150 yards. Your just gonna have to get all the calibers, and have a...

Re: 357 winchester
I got to shoot and handle a brand new Winchester 1873 carbine, 20" round barrel out of the box. I found it very clean, smooth and pleasant to shoot. I did not like the front and rear sights too much. The bland wood seemed un-Winchester like. But, I would buy one and make a few changes here and ...

Boy howdy, my boy and I see them once in awhile down here in Texas. She was a 1971 Mach 1. I used call her the Blue Bullet.
Maybe, I will revisit acquiring another one, once we get back on the farm.
Til then, thanks for the memories!

For the Revolver - For me - the early years of the Colt Single Action Army 2nd Generation. 1956-1959. Classic lines and times. Listen to it as you slowly draw the hammer back. Good subject. On my Winchester model 70, it has the original front and rear factory iron sights and also a weaver pivot scope mount with the Weaver K6 scope. Hinges are on the lower left side of the scope rings and a pivot / or catch ( for lack of the proper term) on the lower right side of the scop...

Hey, No one mentioned this. At Least that I read. Clean your magzine tube and spring. Seems all the new rifles have some amount of rust and gunk in them from the get-go. Could be the final push on the spring, with the last round, is getting too much resistance from the rust and gunk. Hence, it maybe...
