Re: Looming CA Firearms Restrictions - Response
I love where I am at, I don't plan on leaving. I am just making shure that I have all of the bases covered. California almost allways grandfathers so I plan on focusing on auto pistoles for the next two years.

Re: OT - AR-15 can do it all...
I have 1 ebr (Evil brown rifle) grandpa's m-1 carbine that has been in the family for years. It is a hoot to shoot but I still think that if a real social problem phase happens I would rely on the 94 30-30. I do see the point of the lever as the ebr of the 1800's though. I do think that the ar in al...

I dont know about that, but if your .444 is a marlin with micro groove you can shoot remington 2 1/2 inch .410 shells in it. The federal and winchester have a different crimp so they hang up but the remingtons work. I knew an old timer that killed deer and bear with the 444 and quail, tree rats, and...

You are exactly right. Taking down a large mammal firing at you from behind your refrigerator or kitchen counter wouldn't need the slight power edge provided by a 12 gauge. But believe me, if I'm protecting my family, I'm blowing holes right through mama's new refrigerator - with my 12 gauge. Well....

Dont get me wrong I like the the .45 next gun buy will be a 1911 :D , I love it's history and it is a GREAT P.D. round. But in my eyes the .40 is the best, It has a one shot stop rating that is the same as the .357 125 grn J.H.P., and it fits in a 9mm sized pistol. Plus I shoot the .40 better at lon...

New (to me) Levergun
I have been doing some tree work for an older neighbor of mine for some time now. He has always been very nice to me and my family so I didn't think anything of it when he asked me to cut and split a couple trees that had fallen this winter. I finished up the last one, a monster (140' doug fir) and ...
