I'm having my second cataract done on Feb. 1. My first was in October where I was sedated and woke up after it was all over. I would much prefer being asleep than awake during this procedure.

I remember reading articles about the Darne in the '60's. Roger Barlow was the author and was a skilled photographer as that was his real job as I recall. I've never seen one close up and personal but would enjoy the sight for sure.

I just paid $24.00 to have three 20 pound propane tanks filled. Around my hometown they want $14 to fill a single tank.

Today will be the opener for my son & I. He had work yesterday and I didn't want to disturb the flights until he can make it too.

I'll be using a new 28 ga. O/U which was made in Turkey. It came with another set of barrels for the 410 but I am going to save that one for rabbits.

I had a Lyman sight come apart while I was on the line shooting a match. A few small parts were lost and that was the last Lyman aperture sight I ever bought.

No trouble with the Williams sights though.
