Re: lever guns in general

I'm a "righty" but had to learn to shoot "lefty" at a young age after losing an eye to a ............can you believe it? A BB gun! Never looked back! They work great for me and have never been bothered by cases coming out to my right or straight-up!

Re: Win Mod 12 safety question

Thanks Gunny; if I understand you I don't need to use the old safety, I've got a left hand oversized head safety to put in there but I can't figure out how to get the original safety out.

Win Mod 12 safety question

Totally off topic for this forum but..... Trying to replace the rt hand safety with a lefty on a 1937 Win Model 12 shotgun; there's hole clear through the safety near the "red" mark and no other visible holes; is this used to rotate the safety pin so it can be pushed out? Seems extremely s...

Pre 64 M94 carrier question

Not long ago I picked up a 1953 model 94 in 30-30. When I flip the lever open, I really have to pop/snap it hard for the carrier to bring the next round up. If I work the action slow, carrier doesn't rise, it really needs that last little 'snap'. Typical or does some polishing need to be done? I do ...

Off centered williams Peep in order to sight in?

I picked up used model 94, 30-30 made in 1953, it's in excellent shape with good bore. It came with a Williams 94/336 sight on it. I'm new to peeps and usually shoot buckhorn irons. Elevation is great but it hits left (from a solid rest and squeezing the trigger). To dial it in, the peep winds up ob...
