I liked the Gasoline and chain saw... but then, I think he should have shot the fly with a shotgun too...
Of course, chain saw needs gasoline to work for.

I am not sure if they really do the content of the email. Some are just a spam or hoax. Hopefully, you can show us any proof that they are delivering that kind of box. :)

Re: Things getting better?

LGS has shelves groaning under the weight of all the powder they have, I bought 2 pounds of Bullseye this afternoon for $22.95 each. Haven't seen any of this for sale for over 2 years, was pleased with the price.
If I could see that same price too, I am surely amazed and convinced to buy it.

Re: Shout out for 1886

Gary is a class guy. My dealings with him have always been pleasant. I listed some guns for a farmer friend in need & Gary bought one & donated some extra $ too.
I guess he was too generous. I think if I have extra $ then I will have save it for my next gun. :)

Re: USFA Rodeo 45 Colt

Those are the 3 Colt patent dates for that mechanism.
I think patenting is very important so patent number should be put in the products itself.

Re: Converting Hobby Mill to CNC

Over on Brian Enos' forum there's a thread by a guy that took a small mill and converted it to a CNC. It's pretty lengthy, but... worth admirin' the toys he's made on it. Maybe I'm easily impressed, but... ok, I am, but I'm also a 1911 guy... Here's a teaser: That gun really impressed on me also. T...

Re: 7mm Bullet problem - Should I throat the chamber?

As for your dilemma of having too short a throat for your chosen cast lead bullets, I recently purchased a Winchester Model 94 Canadian Centennial .30-30 octagon rifle that was too short throated for my Lyman 311041 cast lead gas checked bullet. I had a local gunsmith lengthen the throat and now th...
