The bullet diameter may be sort of interchangable, but the cartridges are not. Maybe that's where the confusion is. Article's writer was speaking of bullet diameter. OK - Now I'm confused. Is the 32 W.C.F. the same as a Winchester 32-20? I thought they were and the article I read by "Paco" actually said the 32-20 and the 7.62x39mm were interchangable.

I have a Winchester Model 1892 32 W.C.F. with an Octagon barrel manufactured around 1915. It's in very good condition and had been checked out by a gunsmith. I'm having trouble finding 32-20 ammo and read that I can use 7.62 x 39mm ammo. I have a box of "Wolf 7.62 x 39mm 122 GR. HP Steel Case&q...
