Should I be upset about new insurance requirements? Well, I don't know about anybody else, but I sure as heck would be. Too much information to outside entities is not conducive to protecting ones privacy. Personally, and this is just me, I'd tell the company insurance people to go pound sand. You'...

OT: Should I be upset about new insurance requirements?

My employer is now requiring that I send copies of my children's birth certificates to an outside company so that I can prove they are my children. When my children were born I was required to get them an SSN and give that number to the company as proof they were mine before I could add them to my i...

Pics of a few mule deer. BIG pics.

My dad stopped about 3 miles from one of our farms and took these two pics of someone's field. He said there were probably at least 100 mule deer in the field, and he saw a bunch more over about a 20 mile drive. Most of the bucks have shed because he only saw 1 set of antlers out of all the deer. So...

I thought they had to be transferred anyway, through a FFL. It would be dumb not to, from the seller's point of view, because the BATF would still have them on file if the gun was ever used in a crime. Though I guess that would only happen if the perp left the gun at the scene. You are in CA right?...

Looks like it has a silly tang safety on it. A really big one, too. Funny, they don't want to talk about that in their catalog. They even stuck it on the rimfire version. At least Winchester spared us that the first time around.

I would call XS. The will help you out. I think the front sight without the ramp is the one you want for your rifle, but better be sure and save yourself the return shipping.

As noted above, you will barely see the front sight, if at all, when you are using an IER or LER scope.
