I use Laser Cast almost exclusively. Sticking to the Lyman or Suggested powder loads of the powder manufacturers, the bullets them selves are excellent. As far as the manual?

Just talked with Cabela's this morning about my "Back ordered" set. Looks like it will be in that status for some time to come. 45-70 Brass is back ordered 15 weeks at the minimum and on into the unknown past then. Flea-bay here I come.

After reexamining my newly purchased ammo... The crimp seems to be "Over Crimped". At the 2, 4, 8, and 10 O'Clock positions and evenly spaced to indicate so. I would guess that is is machine caused.

I am no .30-30 expert but all of what I have heard from old hunters in the first person sounds like the last few posters.
