They were building the rifle & gave up most of the way through it. The internals they bought were for the 44-40 & 30-30. Thats what they were planning on chambering these in before I got them.

Greetings all! I have recently purchased two winchester 94 recievers with all the internal parts (bolts, carriers, loading gates, etc.) but no barrel or mag tube. Since green mountain barrels aren't making Marlin barrels anymore & Numrich is sold out, anyone have a place to check for a marlin 1894 in 45 colt?

I contacted them & they apparently discontinued making barrels for Marlins all together for a while now. Any other suggestions for companies?

I contacted a rebarreling specialist at Redman's rifling, he said you cannot bore out a 44mag to 45lc because they are not far enough apart in calibers. I may be sticking with my 44-40 idea unless Numrich gets one in stock. Green mountain barrels are just too expensive.

Thanks for the idea Nate, hadn't thought of that. Probably be close to the same price of a barrel plus installation. I'll have to check on that.

I have a winchester 94 and the trigger, even when cocked, is extremely loose. It has play forward and even a little side to side. It shoots fine and the trigger does not effect the functionality of the gun, I guess my question to everyone is, is there a way I can stop the trigger from being so loose...
