22 grains of H-110 over a 325 grain Hard cast LBT bullet. I know from experience it will penetrate 12 inches of seasoned oak. This is a stout load below .44 mag pressure.

A few years back I had a Rossi in .45 LC I have some handloads using data from John Linebaugh. I used them in a Colt Anaconda. They aren't far from Cassull level. The question was asked, "what is meant by hot .45 LC loads". In my case that amounts to 325 gr. LBT bullets loaded to a level that will penetrate 12 inches of seasoned oak from a 5 in. barreled handgun. I haven't run it through a chrono from my 16 in. stainless .45LC. I did get the video f...
