Re: A Rare Winchester 1892 for your information.

I know what you are saying Griff. Why is the letter not about this rifle? By the look of his other listings looks like he has a store in Napier.

Smells a bit fishy now.

What about the stamp on the barrel?

Price seems a bit steep but they probably have a specialist collector in mind. Why the mystery about this rifle's serial number? Why the cryptic letter r...

A Rare Winchester 1892 for your information.

This rifle has been advertised here in New Zealand.

I have absolutely no idea about the rarity or value of it. But it is an interesting read.

I like the idea of a 1892 being used to fend off pirates.

Difficult choice.

There are opinions about original rifles with new barrels as collector items.

But as the article shows could be a good shooter in 38-55.

This is a serious article about a dog who suffered separation anxiety. Our neighbours do this often. The dog, a pitball, often ends up escaping and roaming the streets with the owner getting a steep fine. http://www.stuff.co.nz/life-style/cutestuff/64543224/What-happens-when-you-leave-your-dog-at-home

Brought 3lbs of topside roast. I think it is called round steak according to Wikipedia for about $11.35 on special. It will be fresh. I might slow roast it. We usually don't eat rare beef.

Yes that is a fine looking heifer. They breed them well down here.

Butter about $2.90 a lb.
