I don't have a Parker but I have several damascus sxs that might play well with a Parker. Wesley Richards and Parkers can shoot next to each other without fighting right? I live up near Reading and when MUD SEASON ends lets get together and let the boys roar. Nice gun. Tom

It may be that way at other places but I went both days and never shot farther than 25 yards. I had a blast and realized I wasn't as good as I thought. Will return this spring, it was about an hour from my house and worth the drive. Tom

Re: Anyone heard of the Appleseed Project?
I went last year and had a ball! HOWEVER it isn't what you are thinking! Most of the people there used ruger 10-22 and the shooting is done at 25 yards on(very) scaled down targets. Now don't think it is a breeze at 25 yards cause it isn't. I went both days and learned a bunch about shooting and mys...

Re: To cast or not to cast...
My 2 cents here, see if you can get a reliable source of lead(not zinc) wheel weights, first. The only way it makes economic sense is if you can get the lead or WW at a reasonable price. Try tire shops, recyclers, TRUCK STOPS, local garages ect. If you find you can get WW, start small, old cast iron ...

If you don't want to use the alox I have pan lubed boolits in the past with a 50/50 mixture of vaseline and parafin wax(canning section of grocery store). Lee precisions sizer dies are used in a regular press and then lubed by the pan method or alox. I have never used this system although I have one set on order an they should be here monday. However many people over on castboolits seem to like them. Tom

Iron Marshall if you are planing to use cast boolits one of the first things you can do is to slug your barrels(if you don't know how to do this there is a pretty good video of it on uTube).
