In this case the hole in the tang is smaller than the screw they sent. It looks like the screw is approximately.020 bigger than the hole. 😏

Doc, IIRC ol Superman used his pointer finger to push back on the barrel....but I could be way wrong on that as it was more than a week ago since I saw it (closer to five decades).

You probably already know this and I am preaching to the choir but use the largest size you can get down the bore as lots of people use a smaller rod(usually a cleaning rod) and then drive it right in the middle of the bullet wedging the bullet even tighter in the bore. I have no personal experience with them however a passing curiosity for several years. That carriage is a blessing as historically the man who fired them from the shoulder almost certainly would break or separate his shoulder.
