Re: What turned you on to guns?

At the age of 5, My maternal Grandmother took me down to the pier on the backwater creek where they lived. She gave me a safety lesson and a single shot 22!and ONE cartridge. We shot beer cans, driftwood, blue crab. I blame/thank her. Course a pretty healthy dose of Roy, Gene. Hoppy,Matt, Lucas, the...

Re: The Gun Room

Well since yesterday got cut short due to envelopes stuffing. I went back today and my 1941 39A really likes the CCI standard velocity with the CCI clean subsonic a VERY close second. Here is the results from yesterday with the 32. 10 shot group. attachment=0]D4AC57E0-90AA-448D-8610-7BCE86B9211C.jpe...

Re: The Gun Room

Well I actually did some gun stuff today too. I had put an aftermarket barrel and a stupidly large scope on one of my 10/22’s so I took a bunch of different brands of ammo with me to try and the CCI clean subsonic is the clear winner with one fifty yard 5 shot group looking like a single 308 hole. I...

As a diabetic with iffy eyes and a love of leverguns my favorite setup may be more expensive but it has never failed me. I use EGW bases, Warne rings and leupold 2-7 power scopes. I have other setups but this is my favorite. It doesn’t matter how quickly you can get the shot off if ya can’t see what...
