Great pic, thanks for posting! It sure can make you forget about the moment and make you think you (wish) were there.
The deer look like mule deer and likely elk antlers on the roof, maybe Canada? Alberta?
That's a mess of fish to the left too.

Re: Action screw/s for Browning 53?
Well I pecked away at the left side cartridge guide that had the remaining part of the broken screw in it most of this afternoon. It broke off flush with the one side and the other end was about flush and a nice rounded radius to the original tip of the screw. Started off with a 1/16" left hand...

Re: Browning 92: rebarrel to 44-40 or 38-40
Tough choice. I have always wanted a .44-40 WCF but being that you already have a couple, have a nice start of .38-40 WCF ammo, I'd lean towards the latter. However as someone's already mentioned, you'd probably be ahead selling one of the B92's and buying a .38-40 or .44-40 WCF.

Action screw/s for Browning 53?
Long story short, I had to detail strip my Browning 53 32-20 WCF and snapped the left side rail screw and if that wasn't enough, the one broken end is still stuck in the rail.
So does anyone know where I can get replacement screws for the ol' Browning 53?

awp101, this is just me but I always aim for .002"s over groove diameter if the bore is clean and smooth AND if it will chamber. Really the chambering is your limit with cast bullets. If bore isn't so good, a gas check will most likely help accuracy and to prevent leading. Micro groove barrels ...

I agree with Shasta also on the hammer size.
Also, take a fine tipped Sharpie and make a single straight line starting on the sight to the barrel to use as a "witness" mark to give a reference of how much you've moved the sight. As you know drifting a front sight, a little goes a long way!
