They actually didnt really splatter so much as after about 10 seconds
they stopped moving, turned all blackish and shriveled all up.

Some of your higher end guns do use a type of plating process in where the stainless is dipped(degreased)then dipped in a iron/nickel coating impregnated with fibers that electrically conduct. One option you might try is what I am going to do this month. Send you gun to BOB MUNDEN ,you know the world champ Bob Munden. He does all the work himself and he is extremely reasonable. I have a hang up on Hot 45-70 Loads for my Ruger#1/H&R Handi
I guess the 405 gr buffalo bore is enough for me for a while.
I was really getting some Hot loads in that ruger but I am content

Ya, if the guy is just using open sights and dont want to use the gun to its fullest potential sure thats fine!!! this case it wasnt so much about using a match bullet compared to a PSP,but comparing a RN to a pointed ballistic tip the first of its kind for the 30-30.I guess because I shoot at alot ...

For your info go on the new posts(BAD RELOAD) and check out the BLOWN UP
