I always wear ears on the range. I have never worn them hunting. I am interested in some of the Walker Game Ear type things but have yet to try them.
As an unsuporvised adolescent I damaged my hearing by shooting without protection.

Shame on them, there are at least a few from Florida. I wonder if there was other stuff wrapped into one or both of these resolutions.

I'm using My marlin 1894 44 magnum, I am probably going to be using a Nosler 240 jsp bullet and h-110. that is the most accurate load so far.

Good on you!
Im with Saloon slug you really should consider taking the rifle with you on the hog hunt, that would be cool.
Hopefully you can work away into keeping that rifle.

I've kept up with the challenge. My shooting has improved. I pulled out an old target and compared them with the most recent. Shooting from a cross ankled sitting position my groups are close to half the size. For me a big lesson was slowing down, slowing down my thinking. Stopping myself from think...

New to me 39M

I stopped by our local gun shop and looked around, there on the used gun rack was a lever sticking out. It came home with me. It is a Marlin 39M, it is a little rough on the outside, pitting here and there, wood finish rough as well. The butt plate looks brand new. The inside of the gun, action and b...

I choose XS, but I like the williams 5d alright. With XS I really love the front sight, it helps my shooting greatly over the standard tiny bead.

I sometimes carry a sp101, IWB and pocket carry, it is the one with the bobbed hammer double action only. It is the best shooting snub nose I have ever shot. Full power 357s bang pretty hard, but are totally controllable with practice. These are solid heavy duty little guns. At first I thought the f...
