My local Wally World doesn't sell guns, but does sell ammunition - or did. The guy usually behind the counter is a true "gunny", and knows his stuff. Pro's on Walmart for me was that with their buying power, they had ammunition when it was a rare as a hen's tooth. Also, they didn't inflate the price...

IIRC, if you take out the top five cities for murders in the US (all, BTW, run by Democrats and have been for decades), the US drops to the bottom 10 of murders per capita among all the countries of the world.
