OT-Moving
I'm down to my last 3 weeks as a Vermont resident. I've never lived anywhere else since I was 2, so I'm pretty psyched for something new. I absolutely detest the process of packing and the inevitable trash removal chores that accompany it, though.

Re: OT-Deadliest Warrior Jesse James v. Al Capone
I was surprised that the james gang won. I could not believe the 'experts' favored the stiletto over the bowie knife  That bowie knife made very short work of the pig! Also, remind me to never get pistol whipped! i think they gave the stiletto to team capone just to make things more even. Wi...

England has its Highwaymen, Australia its bushrangers and America its outlaws- while all have an element of popular glamour all are basically another form of gangster, and I do not think James is any better than stuff like Capone. Surprisingly, they handed it to the Jesse James gang. They based their determination on the accurate and fast shooting of the James gang as opposed to the spray and pray methods of Capone. This was all based on their "findings" of course.

I've started my initial workup. I started with 30 grains of Blue Dot and only got 947 f/s 12 feet from the muzzle. They need to hit 1250 for the sabot to open up properly. 32 grains got me a little over 1000 f/s. even that penetrated over 4" into a large maple log and showed no signs of deforma...

We have three indoor cats and never have a problem with any of them peeing anywhere other than the litter box. Most, but not all of the time, a problem cat is the result of bad owners. Liability is certainly a major concern and, as already noted, no waiver ever written and signed can protect you from it. LIABILITY would be a real road-block now-a-days, especially, if it were a public (open to the public) range on private land. That'd be really asking for it. Very true. Those "not liable for accidents" signs don't mean squat in most courts. You can't waive negligence. What about a signed w...

I wasn't all that blown away by the terminal performance of the factory round out of my carbine. If they made a heavier .357 LE (158 to 180 grain) bullet made of stouter stuff, it might get a .357 levergun close in terminal performance to a .35 rem at 100 yards.
