rangerider7,

Nice group of Herefords you got there.

Don't worry about the 'yote, he'll be back and I am sure you and your "kitty" gun will get him.

Take a look at Skinner's peep sights. Skinner is located up in Montana.

They are easy looking, not complex and do a great job.

Re: POLITICS - OBAMA The AN-TI American (The One)

10/6/08 Greetings All At Leverguns, I agree with just about everything that has been posted so far on this subject. Believe me, I am puzzled beyond all reason as to why this obomination guy is so successful in attracting voters. But, there may be hope and perhaps only a little. In the 2008 New Hamps...

Re: OT: .45 Autos

9/30/08 Aries, Since I left the U.S. Army many years ago I always wanted to own a 45. Well last fall between Marlinitis bouts, I looked at a good number of 45's from differeent manufactureers and finally (in May) settled on a Springfield. I couldn't be more satisfied; it shoots straight, it is very ...

Re: So, Ya Think Scopes Don't Belong On Leverguns, Huh ?

8/27/08 Greetings One & All At MO, Well, I never knew until I saw Marlinman 93's and Grizzly Adams' levergun photos in this post. Those old-time scopes, in addition to optically assisting in making good and accurate shooting, are by their nature first-class carrying handles. Probably, but who kn...

My, my; they are nice stocks. Such superb quality and that wood looks like it is ivory.

Anyhow, who is Esmeralda? And does she have a web site to enter to look at her products?

If anyone knows, please post here and let me (and, perhaps others) know.

Thank you,

Re: 45-70 Guide Gun

7/23/08 Tennessee Hayre, you have brought up a good point. I have been shooting my two 39's (an "A" and an "AS") just using the factory sights. And believe me they do just fine. Right now I am in the process of up-grading both (if that is the correct term)with Skinner peep sights...

Best Ear Protection ?

I recently purchased a set of H-10 ear-muffs for about $20.00 made by Peltor and highly recommended by Dave Petzal in his Marlin MR-7 write-up of a number of years ago. I have used them extensively and I must say they work wonderfully. I could not be happier with them. My recommendation is not to bu...

Michael From New Hampshire, You are totally missing the point and, more likely than not, you are significantly confused. At war, the troops and the Commander In Chief are united as elements of the Chain Of Command. So, I wonder about genuineness of your "support of the troops". My thinking...

I agree with J. Miller on his recommendation of Peltor products. Recently Dave Petzal of F.&S. pointed out the superb performance of a Peltor product; the H10. The H10 is an ear muff type protector and is rated at a 30decibel reduction. Dave also mentioned that the H10 was about $17.50. Well, I ...
