I know that throughout much of the net today that the .22lr and it's brother the .22M are very popular choices for such fantasies. But let's for one second step back in time to when the U.S. did have 1/10th the population, nothing came from anywhere let alone China and people really did use firearms...

My short list:

- .32 H&R, currently using TiteGroup and BlueDot
- .357M, currently using Unique and BlueDot
- .243, currently using IMR4064

For my 3 powder choice I combined the TiteGroup and Unique and switched em to RedDot.

Forget the thought of the see-thru rings, go with the lowest rings that will work.

I bought an older El'paso Weaver K3 for my AE when I had it. Vintage looks go acceptably well with a good lever gun.
