It looks allot like TiteGroup. I've been doing a little work with it lately. You don't need to use much of it, so 6 grains sounds like a light plinking load in a 44 mag. TiteGroup is a flat silver disk powder simular to your picture.

Nath, Yes that was out of a 20 inch barrel. I also chrony'd some factory ammo as a base line. It was the Federal Power Shok that Cabellas had for $7.99 a box. I haven't calculated the Average Deviation yet but here are the results. Both the factory and my reloads were 10 shot strings. Federal Power ...

New chrony and some results
I've been reloading for about a year now and thought it was time I chronographed what I load to get an idea of what I'm doing. I picked up a Shooting Chrony Master Beta version, (the blue one). Here are some results from a load I've been using for a while with good results. I use Lee equipment. The ...

It looks like a leaf spring hammer with a coil spring. The hammer should look like this one: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a88/theonet/352259.jpg Tycer, those are the exact parts I used. I researched the mod quite a bit before doing it. I matched each part to the pictures as I aquired them. Than...

Finished with the rebounding hammer convert
I finally finished the rebounding hammer convertion on my Winchester 94. I waited months for Numrich to get a sear in stock. I still need to go out and shoot it. I have a question that I think I know the answer to. After the trigger is pulled and the hammer falls, the lever is lowered to cycle anoth...

OT - 9mm Hornady load data
If anyone has a Hornady load manual, I was hoping to get some data. I looked for the book at Sportsman Warehouse today but they were out. I need info for the 124 gr Hornady XTP using Unique powder.

Found some brass, have a question
While scrounging in the brass bucket last week at the range, I found some 38 spl brass that looks to be fairly old. The headstamp is Peters. I also found some with the headstamp REM-UMC and one with Western. Anybody heard of Peters?
Thanks,
Tony

Winchester 94 sear needed
In order to finish my rebounding hammer to half cock hammer project, I'm in need of a sear. I have everything else but that. I keep checking Numrich but they are out of stock. Does anybody know of another source for this type of part? The sear I need is from a post 64, top eject, with a serial numbe...

Rainier Bullets question
I just picked up some Rainier Bullets. They are 158 grain copper plated flat points for 357 mag. I used some Rainier Bullets in my 9mm and they worked great so I thought I give them a try in my Rossi carbine and Ruger BH. They do not have a crimp grove and the web sight said to give them a light tap...
