The telegraphist pretty much nailed it. The structure -- five letter blocks -- indicates to me that it was encrypted using a prearranged and, probably, one time pad. In short, Remington is producing lousy firearms period! I can believe that. About two years ago I bought a 700 VTR that had several little things wrong with it. It is 19th Century slang and means pretty much as other have said, "I'm the person you are looking for," or "I'm the man for the job." It has nothing to do with Mark Twain's novels. "Huckleberry" was used in the 19th Century to denote a a small unit of measure. "I'...

Some jurisdictions define the original Circuit Judge as a semiautomatic rifle because the operator only has to pull the trigger between shots. In others a revolving rifle that can be quickly converted into a handgun is illegal. This is probably aimed at those markets.

The 20" bbl on this gun is not overly light at all--as some have mentioned on their--maybe longer barreled BLRs. I really like the handiness of this barrel and gun. My model 81 and my takedown are the same weight within an oz or two. I think that Browning took the weight saved with an aluminum...

The general rule for straight cased pistol cartridges moving to levergun carbines is that you get about a 20% gain. That's proven itself for me with larger bore cartridges. That would put that load at 1920 fps from a levergun. Like you say - 32-20 basically I don't know about the .327 but the 20% d...
