I think it was 1982 when we bought our first Frame and two 7 TCU barrels .. one was 10" and the other14" Very accurate caliber !
Now we have more barrels and always looking for another. My favorites are the 414 Suppermag. Looking to get a 445 SM some day.

For numerous years the Woodsman Pal was issue in US Army aircraft.
The one we have is the military issue made in 1966. A pilot decided he liked it and brought it back with him.
I have used it a bunch down in river bottoms cutting lanes for archery deer hunting.

That is a fine looking Winchester 1892 ! And in one of the best calibers !
Here is another 1913 made 1892 in 44 WCF. This one is just about as bad as a 92 can be .

Hard to beat 4198 in a straight case... especially when getting launched from a handsome rifle !
A peep or tang sight will sure clear up them blurry fronts. Near all my rifles have some sort of hole type on the rear.

We also have numerous caliber 50 cartridges and none have ever split. Our oldest is 1943. This is a unique happening !
When I was at FT Hood on M60A1 tanks we fired thousands of WW2 and Korean ammo. Do not remember seeing or hearing of any "split" cases.

Halls carry the sights set off center to the left of the hammer.
We call our Flinter Hall made in 1823 "Vesuvias". When you touch off a Hall flinter the "touch hole" runs near vertical. The resulting ignition blows straight up.
