Keep in mind that yesterdays vote was an initial vote. The final one takes place in a couple of months. Included in that reg is a 5 round magazine limit. I was actually surprised to see the reg in this years business. All estimates was for semis to be allowed for small game and varmint hunting with ...

I use the Impacts previously mentioned for both hunting and weekly summer silhouette matches. A set of batteries last me at least a year and I believe two years. That would be roughly 50 days per year. That said, another silhouette shooter swears by these Peltor plugs. https://www.midwayusa.com/prod...

Re: Finally Made Up My Mind

I don't disagree with your comment Blaine. That said there are a lot of molds for 44s that cast at .430, my RCBS 2t0gr Keith being one of them. It would be real easy for someone to grab a mold and not paying attention get one that casts smaller than desired. I believe beagling is enlarging the mold ...

  I thought   an oversized bullet mold was sort of common, and that the product could be run thru the sizer for a proper size? Particularly in 44 it would not be uncommon for a mold to cast around .430 or .431 as they are geared to handguns. If you need .432 you would be out...

Six, I'm less pessimistic than you on semi-autos. WV has very much the same terrain as PA if not even more mountainous. They have allowed semi-autos for years as has 48 other states without issue. I would anticipate the PGC would include mag limits of probably 5 rounds. I have seen pumps and levers ...

The law is on the Governor's desk that would give the discretion to the PGC to allow semis for hunting. It remains to be seen if he will sign it and then what the PGC will do if he does.

Edited because I used the wrong word.
