Re: Wichita single shot pistol?

OK, what is the 7mm IR based on? .30-30? If so, what makes it different from the 7-30 Waters? Think of the 7mm IntR as a 7-30 AI. The shoulder is blown out and at a sharper angle. It was a popular conversion for Contenders in 7mm TCU back when IHMSA was big. If I remember correctly the 7 IHMSA was ...

I've been to McDonald several times. Once to shoot BPCR with a friend's rifle. They do not shoot Levergun silhouette there however. They used to shoot hunter pistol, small bore cowboy and pistol cartridge silhouette but haven't done so for at least three years now. They do shoot SASS.

Hi John,

Do you ever get down my way for silhouette? We have two clubs that shoots hunter pistol and levergun stuff out to 100 yards plus one club that has the 200 meter matches too.

I know that is the course of fire for BPCR. Is there a Levergun shoot like that as well?

Charlotte NC - Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette

Hi All,

Does any one know if there is a Cowboy Lever Action Silhouette match close to Charlotte this weekend? I'll be there for our son's wedding but it is not until 5:00. Hopefully the morning will be free!

Thanks

Re: Taking my .30-30 to the NRA High Power Silhouette Champ.

Just for giggles I shot the 1/5 size small bore targets with my small bore cowboy levergun silhouette rifle. That was humbling! Those itty bitty targets disappear when you look at them with open sights. So you didn't lose any Rams? Back when I shot IHMSA there were occasions when shooters would fail...

Get the video, it is worth it. It should have both the pinning ceremony and the graduation on it. Just so happens that the camera caught my wife jumping in to our son's arms after the pinning ceremony....quite touching! Congratulations to both your son and you. Ummm, the only problem with the AR-15 doing it all is that you can not hunt with it in PA. No Semi-auto rifles allowed. I believe there are other states like that as well.
