I am not really up on my scripture-quotin', but from what I have read and remember, there is nothing to indicate suicide is unpardonable, and I am confident that suicide is forgiven. Church doctrine is often based on more on maintaining control of the members' behaviour than scriptural truth. Prayer...

Griff, with my agency, there is no timed reload for "off-duty" and back-up weapons, just one gunload at 15 yards, and the rest of 50 rounds up closer. I could finish before the guys who have only one magazine for their autos, using my SAAs or Montado. The only revolvers, allowed, however a...

I routinely carry two; an SP101 snubby, and another equal or bigger, usually bigger. It is not unusual for me to have a third firearm with me, but not necessarily on my person. Texas CHL law has no limit, and it is not necessary to list a weapon with the state, or anyone else. I carry on my peace of...

Yep, it was the good Col. On the original question, well, it depends on my mood and perceived threat level. I almost always carry at least one reload per type of weapon, and usually carry two handguns. If the two handguns are the same type, I might only carry one reload that they can share. The two-gun habit is largely becau...

The strength of Speed Strips is the ability to load two rounds very quickly. With an SA, that factor is lost, as only one chamber is exposed at a time. I don't have a .38/.357 SA to test the theory, but the available space might make a Speed Strip problematic when reloading an SA. I do use Speed Str...
