With all the good used Marlin's around, no need to buy either one of these. I have handled both at the store, and wasn't impressed by them. Admittedly I havn't fired any. Remington need's to straighten out it's Marlin line.

My Marlin 1894 .41 mag loves LILGUN, I don't use a max load and just use large pistol primers. I have had no problems that I can tell. It is accurate and fast enough that I have never upped the charge. I'll keep using it.

Welcome to leverguns. Make sure the screw that holds the loading gate is tight. Might be a good idea to tighten all the screws in the action. Use a good screwdriver that fit's screws correctly. Good luck.

I have a Win 92 in .44 mag with a rifle butt that gives a pretty good bite if not held correctly. My solution was the same as yours,I had levergun (from Idaho) make me a leather butt cuff.It laces on and helped quite a bit.
