Hi all, I found a used .44 carbine on sale over internet and was worried about getting one of the ones with an oversized bore that I have read about. Since I can't measure this ahead of time, does anyone know how to avoid this with maybe a serial number range or other markings that may be on the gun...

I want to use blackpowder. The bore groove dim are .373/.379. Maybe they'll bump up.

I am waiting for a mould from Buffalo Arms and was curious as to what to expect as far as the bullet nose diameter. Could someone who has cast bullets from this mold let me know the diameter of the nose? The body diameter would be good to know too. Thanks for your help.
