mine came to me adjusted all the way down too. Havent put a gauge on it but it feels like about 4lbs to me. After looking at it if the trigger needs more work i'd be tempted to try replacing that spring with a lighter(thinner wire) one and then try adjusting it but i still havent been to the range w...

there are some good gun deals out there. On Black Friday i picked up a TC Compass bolt gun for $199 after rebate. I got a 223, didn't need it but the price,adjustable trigger, and 100 yd MOA guarantee kind of got the best of me. Doing a camo krylon job on the stock today.

if it's a kitchen sink drain you should be able to poke out the clog with 6' of snake or less....if it takes more snake than that the clog will be in the main line. First run your snake in the cleanout thats outside....easiest thing to do and you might clear it there. If that doesn't work then pull ...

FWIW I recently bought a new MGM 21" blued 357 magnum Contender barrel. 16 grains of 296 and the XTP 158 gr HP did a 3 shot 3/4" group at 100yds

when my eyes started to go bad i went from the factory irons to a Lyman tang peep sight on my 1942 Winchester M94....accuracy wise the difference was night and day. I can do 2" 3 shot groups at 100 yds on my good days. I can't do that with factory irons....Mike

first off,i don't like plastic guns. That being said i do own one and it's my carry gun. Its a 9mm S+W Shield. i believe the Rossi M92 has a oversize front dovetail so standard dovetail sights will be loose. Contact Steve Jones at stevesgunz....he's the M92 expert and has sights wthe oversize dovetail for sale/

i'm a big fan of the contender carbine. I have a easy open(pre g2) frame and rynite stock with a Blackout cheek riser. I had a 30-30 barrel but traded it off without working with it much. I have a 22 Hornet 21" tapered barrel with 2 loads worked out, 34 gr HP at about 2800 fps and a 22 lr level...

i have used the same mix for about 5 years. I use a large(one gallon i think) zip lock bag. Put the cases in the bag, then a couple squirts of lube from a spray bottle (doesnt take much) close the bag and squeeze/massage a bit till the cases all look wet, then take em out and put em in a loading blo...

i bought a RIA CS 1911 that ran pretty much 100% right out of the box. Recently i bought some Commander parts and fitted Commander slide and barrel to my CS frame. i have a Lyman tang sight on my Winchester M94. Never had any trouble with it, it's solid. The Winnie is a "one load" gun, I have no need to adjust once it's dialed in. The minor windage adjustment I needed I got by driftin the front sight.

thanks for the reply's.....all good news. As far as sights go i'm happy with a 5d or a FP. None of my rifles have what i would call a target trigger. All my rifles have a trigger pull of 3.5 lbs and i don't want a lighter trigger pull than that. Don't have a need for a "safety" on a lever ...

now i'm wondering if i disassemble the latch can i lengthen(stretch) the spring a bit to increase tension on the friction stud....or maybe drop a bb or small ball bearing in the hole before installing the spring and stud. Anybody tried this?

i live in the beach area. I am familiar with Duncan's, i used them 10 yrs or so ago to re-blue a rifle. They did an excellent job,but they weren't cheap.....thanks for the reply.....Mike

i don't cast but have spent some time with 32 spec cast loads. Mine is real sensitive to bullet diameter. Sized .321 bullets will keyhole, sized .322 they go in the same hole.Go figure.
