I agree about it being a 2 edged sword, however it does work well at times. Start out slow and quite give it a break every once in a while. seems like it worked best pre rut or right at the beginning of it. Watch out for your hands. We used to use a decent lil 4 point for rattling, but the tips woul...

have the 9422 and my buddy has the marlin. We both like the 9422 better because of its body lines, and how it handles. Both are accurate. I take digger squirrels at 125 yards with mine no problem. Functions flawlessly, I have ran loads that were mixed with lr,l, and shorts and notta hitch. The only ...

Your right about the ammount of critters, just gotta glass for them. Also I have never seen another person up on those rocks. And t...

[grunt] 4 hours to the road- apparently, you earned every bit of that buck, and your buddy gets a couple steaks-? 1x2 Buddy was my dad. Problem draggin it out was how steep the terrain was. It was not possible to be side by side with the deer in the middle. It was a battle thats for sure. The blowd...

got my buck today srry no lever but gotta brag

Went up on the rimrocks today. Did alot more glassing then walking but it paid off. Was going to pack the savage 99 243 today but with the threat of snow and rain, not to mention how hard rimrocks are to wood stocks I took a remington 721 30-06. 125 yard shot down off the rimrocks to where he was fe...

Not quite old enough to buy a pitsol or pistol ammo yet. Still got 2 years to go. So my choices are pretty limited. Ussually I bum my dads .22 ruger bisley. Otherwise its a 9422 or savage premier for just a woods partner. Only had to a gun once for defense in the woods. I fell asleep in my tent an f...

it'll fire.

Mom used to get mad at me about pellets. a .177 pellet is the perfect size to fill up the drain holes in the washer an the only way to get them out is to puch them all the way through the hole. End result is a washer that sounds like it has a bunch of pebbles in the bottom of it.

94AE modification questions

I bought a pre saftey 94 AE 30-30 the other day. However the lil tit that blocks the trigger untill the lever is squeezed is super stiff. I have to sqeeze the lever as hard as I can instead of focusing on what I'm aiming at. I also have to choke up on the lever so much that its acctually the base of...
