Jay, I've got 2 cats myself, one is a female with stripes (Phoenix) like the one you have. She was found in the garage about 3 weeks after we moved in. The other is a 2 month old calico with long hair (Isis). We got her to keep the other company and to have another cat. She was given to us by a girl...

Just wondering what everyone is thinking about bringing to shoot. I can bring my 50BMG if anybody is interested.
I'm thinking of bringing my '95 Marlin, and Winchester, 1894CL 32-20, and a scoped 94 30-30.

A dog can be taught anything at anytime, it only takes time. How much though, is another question all together. OJ, I know what you mean about the speed of a Mastiff. I have an 11 month old St. Bernard, that takes his sweet time doing everything. I keep telling my wife, he knows that his time is sho...

Re: Trigger job on a Winchester 94?
Some of the factory burrs can be removed by simply cocking the hammer and pushing up on it and pulling the trigger. It's a very simple procedure, but it does seem to help with the trigger letoff. I saw this in a magazine somewhere. It was a trigger job on the cheap for a single action Ruger. You did...

IF the bore is in good shape, and the trigger pull is good, it should be a good shooter, or project gun.

If you absolutely have to have a Double Action, try a Taurus Tracker in 44 Mag with a 4" barrel. It's ported so it's easier to get it back on target, it holds 5 rounds, and you can pack it all day, it'll only set you back about $450.

Alot of the penetration of the X-Bullet has to do with the solid copper back half of the bullet. If the bullet does shed it's pedals it still has the back end that continues on it's forward path, the Nosler Partition shares the same potential.
