I have seen a few mods on other sites that do take it to far, LS1TECH.com has the worlds worst. I mod on two sites and both are a very good class of people just like this site. If you have good people life is easy.

I have a 24" rifle barrel chambered in .405 for my Encore and with the Hornady 300gr ammo recoil is stiff but not untolerable. I have been wanting to work on some plinker loads using .41 mag bullets.

No joke this is my first deer with a levergun! It's a nice little button-buck taken with my 95 Winnie in 30-40 Krag with a Remington factory load 180gr PSP. Distance was about 40 yards. http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii304/shawn_c992001/Dogsanddeer017-1.jpg http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii3...

40gr Ballistic Tip, hands down!!! In a .223 or .22-250 they are hard to guard! They also put dogs down in their tracks, with a FMJ bullet you sometimes can have a dog run off and they don't leave much of a blood trail either.

It now has 10psi of boost at way over 500rwhp, and loads of torque! Next spring when it comes out it will be over 600rwhp, and still have the stock bottomend!
