Joe, Make sure there is no electrical device near the scale that could cause a magnetic field like a motor or electric dribbler or lube heater or such. I find that simple is best with scales and your old Redding oil dampened scale is a good scale. My dad and I used the same one for many years withou...

It works differently in different guns BUT. I find the lighter bullets at high speed will shoot lower than say a 300+ bullet at 12-1300 fps at short range due to the barrel recoiling up more before the bullet leaves the barrel. Now at longer ranges the slow heavy bullet will start to drop quicker th...

azoil, Howdy! LLA works good on just about any bullet design I have tried it on.The tumble lube bullets do put more lube close to the bore than those deep lube grooves do but you can lube them more to get more on. Take a look at Lee`s site to see more tumble lube designs from Lee. Most of them work ...

Marlin does not recomend Blazer ammo for the marlin 1894`s and they say don`t use them in the operator manual. I understand CCI is now making brass cased blazers so that may have changed. I do not think FMJ ammo in a tubular magazine is a good idea either. For what its worth,my 1894 .357 feeds just ...

I agree with Homefront and Scott. The .243 is NOT acartridge known for high level of erosion and with common load levels should last for a couple thousand rounds before accuracy goes down the drain. There are a couple of Benchrest guys I know of that set their barrels back and rechamber every 2-300 ...
