I have a 26" Canadian cent. 94 . It is a well balanced and very accurate rifle. I have fired many one ragged hole five shot groups at 50 yd. it's only hindered by my old eyes even with a Williams FP rear that's as good as I can do these days.

I just read the latest issue of the fouling shot. There is a good write up on the .30 carbine and both jacketed and cast loads. The author said his Ruger BlackHawk will outshoot , group wise at 100 yd ,than any old or new carbine he has tested. A good read. I have owned a couple over the years and s...

Epoxy that cures slowly will be stronger than if it cures fast. There is a limit to how much cold they can take though. Sometimes I just put a light bulb near by and cover with something to help contain some of the warmth.

IME, (E for experience) not a problem. Maybe in some .357 rifle barrels, but not in mine. Years ago, I read and saved an article on using 9mm fmj at moderate velocity for turkey loads in a .357 rifle. The author provided load data and so I tried it in my old 1892 with 20 inch Douglas .357 barrel an...

Skidmoors is the best I have found. It conditions and feeds leather without making it soft or darkening very much.

If you load bullets much heavier than 170 gr. The rifle won't fully stabilize them unless you are pushing them to near max.
Velocity. I found that out playing with my Win. 94 .32 Sp. You won't get enough velocity out of BP. I like 5744 also.
