Re: Insurance rifles

I have no idea what George's game is.
He's a nut.
Wastes a lot of time on the differnt boards.
One week he asks for instructions on making a holster or a saddle and then he's showing pictures of other , some pretty well known folks', work and claiming it as his own.
Bizarre.

Re: Insurance rifles

Folks: this nobears guy is a fake and a lair.
He has been caught fabricating on other forums. He was asked to leave both single-actions and leatherworkers.net
He seems like a real nice sincere guy but he is not.

Re: OT - Tell me what you think/know about Ruger Mini 14's

Mini 14's they seem to digest anything and are reliable and accurate enough.
They are the gun of choice for Alaskan natives and big game is killed (and many maimed truth be told) every year with the Mini 14.
I like mine for the knock around reliable truck gun that it is.

Re: OT: combat shotgun?

Pardon me, but the second amendment doesn't mention any specifics as to types of weapons. Keep and bear Arms. Our for fathers used rifles and smooth bore muskets with bayonets to wrest our freedom from the grip of King George. Maybe you didn't realize it but, your argument sounds like you took excer...

Re: OT 25-06 Remington

I hope you have it already! It is a great cartridge, I have used it on a bunch of whitetail, only 1 ever moved (other than straight down to the ground) after the first shot, and that was poor/hasty shooting on my part. I used 100 grain Partitions, and Remington factory 120 Cor-loks with equal succes...
