Thought I saved the site ,but alas no. I'm looking to scout scope a 1895 cowboy octagon barrel, found the perfect one (only one) lol did not get around to order it and now I can't find it. Had a iron sight built into the rail in case you want to remove scope. Anybody got a clue for me? Thanks

Nope never had one like those. The rich kids had 'em though. I made my own in Jr. High. I used a 24" bicycle frame with the center bar removed, and mounted an old lawn mower engine in it with a jack shaft, centrifugal clutch, and used v belts. Used 20" wheels/tires with a modified 20"...

I have a xs rail on my 1894p works well. Now I have a couple of marlin 1895's that no rail out there will fit. One is a octagon barrel cowboy that xs does not make a rail for . I also have a custom round barrel that does not have a rear dovetail cut to anchor the xs sight. Midway has a steel 9"...

Folks that run a wood stove for heat, question for you. I've seen pictures that show a pot on the stove to provide some humidity to counteract the dry heat that the stove gives off. What would be the best bet material wise (cast iron, porcelain etc) shape and size?

A Buck esquire 3" folder ,35 years of guttin. Now for skinning ,caping and puttin up fur, I use a poultry farm butcher fixed blade. The factories discard the used knifes where they find their way to me for a buck a piece. I get them at trappers conventions. Cheap and sharp.
