It is defomtely a High Standard. I had two in 12 ga.

I personally was not happy with the two I had and was happy tomove them on but they were problem children who had suffered a hard life. The design is good and they are all steel where it counts.

You need to eat cheap....try oatmeal. Spiced up with peaches, apples, raisins, cinamon, brown sugar, bananas, nuts, dates, blueberries, etc and it makes a nice filling meal.

Also oatmeal mixed with ground beef and a few spices makes a pretty good meatloaf or hamburger or meatball.

I would suggest Mid or Northern Michigan except for the weather.....the Great Lakes help mediate the harsh winter storms, we don't get the weather that they get in Minnesota or Idaho, but compared to Hawaii the winters would seem mighty inhospitable.

IMO Bin Laden is dead already.....he realized a long time ago that being taken alive was not something he could tolerate & that he was more valuable to the cause as a ghost then as a martyr....he is known to have issued orders to his bodyguards to kill him to prevent his capture and to disfigure...

Winchester 94 in 30 WCF......nothing fancy or particularly inspiring about it except I have had it all my life and am familiar enough with it that I can shoot it instinctively. I feel that is important as I imagine any life saving shot I ever take with it will be a split second decision.

Local taxidermist does european mounts for about $75....he puts the head in a beetle tank for about week, chemically bleaches it, and then seals. Guaranteed to last.

I started my boys out a few years back with a Marlin 15YN 'Buckaroo' which is a single shot, short stocked version of the Marlin rimfire bolt action. Accurate and reliable ......what more could you ask for. Wm P.S. I am going to hang onto it for another couple decades....grandchildren doncha know.
