And we ask once again . . . caliber?
Maybe it doesn't have a caliber, maybe, just maybe it shoots whatever you put in it! Kewal!

Re: Marlin "Outfitter" in 444
I'm relativly recent around these parts, but could be you're looking to the wrong group for this sorta help. Don't want to critisize anyone unduly but I think pretty much everyone here from the top down are nothing but a bunch o' enablers, ya ask me. Sounds like an excellent rifle! I think the .444 ...

Re: Primer prices
Gentlemen, Think about it. Today is the 29th of March, how long ago was the election? Is demand getting less, or is it getting more? In the five months since the sock monkey was elected I think demand has increased dramtically, as shown by the prices. Don't you? CCI is backlogged in Large Rifle prim...

Re: OT. Customer Service as it should be
RCBS is famous for that caliber of service also.
I picked up a used Piggyback of theirs at a gun show. It was missing eight small parts that they would in no way shape or form allow me to even pay just the shipping on.
It's why my loading bench is green - allways will be.

Re: Looking to start bullet casting-What do I need?
The first thing you need is a copy of Lyman's Cast Bullet Hanbook. But it and read it! It will answer 99.5% of your questions and be more reliable than getting information off the internet. Charles, I must respectfully disagree in this instance. The CastBoolits forum is a far superior resource than...

Re: OT: Hypothetical Question Time - Which State?
This was not a hypothetical question for me. I retired to South Dakota this last August. No big water, no mountains, sorry. But this is heaven to me & my wife. Low taxes, low cost of living, excellent attitudes/laws for firearms. Took me ten minutes and ten dollars to walk out of the sherrifs of...

Duff L, Great photo! I don't mind the gators and such like, I'm always armed and a good fight spices up the day. But poisionus things? Nope. They got no reason, none at all. I kill every single one I can. I'll go out of my way to do so. All y'all snake lovers are probably as glad as I am that I live...

AJ,
Do you taper crimp or roll crimp your .45 Cowboy loads?
If you roll, who's die do you use? I've been thinking of going to your igenious system but the crimp issue puzzels me.
Great lookin' pair o' rifles, thanks for showing 'em.

Re: Carrying te same caliber lever and sidearm.
Gee, what am I doing wrong? Have bummed around the Colorado mountains for 50 years and my standard companion is a .22 Ruger MK II. I use the CCI Velocitors and always a beautiful stag handled knife. We have bears and mountain lions but I am more worried about the weather than animals. We have lots ...

rangerider,
Thank you very much for both the explination and the very nice pics! I thought it may have been something like that.
Who made the new one? Looks like excellent kit.

http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e372/rangerider72/DCP_5518.jpg rangerider, In the photo above, there is a very unusual cartridge belt. Looks like double rows? Can you tell us about it/post a pic of just it please? To answer the thread question, due to economic situations, twice in my life I have ...

Re: Reloading Press, Reccomendattions
Another advantage to the Rockchucker is that you can get a Piggyback for it. Then you load pistol and some (short) rifle rounds progressively.

A RCBS Rockchucker will mount the way you want. Mine is mounted hard up against the edge of my bench and nothing hits the bench. Very tough press too.

nate,
Thanks for the data. If you do get things settled out with Armi I would love to hear of it. I like the gun, it sure is purdy.

nate, Could you be specific please? I have a Armi 92 in .45 Colt and if there are things I should get addressed I would like to earlier rather than later. I do like mine. The Cresant butt plate sure lets you know that the primer functioned. The barrel is interesting. The lands look good, but you can...

Idiot,
I for one would like to see some photos of your .357 it sounds like a well set up rifle. That sling swivel on the front band intriges me.
