Steve,
Got big hands, do ya?
That's my only objection to the large framed Glocks, they do be biggish.
What ballistics do you get with that six incher? Not asking for loads.

There seem to be two differant sizes, 10 x 32 and 7/32 x 40. Good luck finding the second. You can try here: http://www.victornet.com/cgi-bin/victor ... ,1170,1171

If you reload, and you care to, those velocity numbers can be raised signifigitly. Most 9s are loaded with fast to very fast powders, which only makes sense when you consider the barrel lengths of most 9s. Slower powders such as Blue Dot will really make a difference. Enjoy.

Nope, ya done good. Them sinkers will work for any bore that they are larger than. Just drive 'em in, if there is much of a difference in size the excess will just shave off at the entrance to the bore. Measure carefully, gently with the micrometer. A Brinnell hardness of 15 is fairly hard. I would not expect expansion in a critter. You will get penetration, even at that velocity. With that size meplat you probably won't recover a bullet from a deer. A larger meplat would be better (from a killing point of view) but I would think the bullet you...

SJ,
I shoot 260 grainers out of my Trapper in .45 Colt at just under 1600 fps. Neither straight wheel weights or ww/50% pure lead will lead the bore. The 50/50 mix is a known alloy good for mushrooming.

Chances are high that the holster will form to the G36 and that the piece will be un-harmed. I formed a holster for a 2.5 inch 19 Smith to fit my 3 inch Mod 29 Smith. Put some Saran wrap around it and soak the holster in rubbing alcohol, not water. Worked a treat.
