No matter what happens, they deserve an "E" for Effort!!
I think thats awesome, there are some serious cajones at work there.
As someone once said, "Do not go gentle into that good night"

Re: Quite Intresting , Chippa Firearms 1886 in 444 Marlin
I was pretty interested in that Chiappa 1886, until I saw the price tag. $1,399 Retail?? I dont know what the quality level is on these, could be good, could be bad, I just dont know. But I doubt it could be better than the Miroku / Japanese 1886s for Browning..... and for that kinda price I'd rathe...

Re: Pointy bullets in tubular magazines
Interesting discussion here, This is something I've always wondered about. Btw, the idea of using plastic tubing to simulate a mag tube is a good one, so you can see exactly how the cartridges lie in the tube Here's just a random thought - if you can't find the exact ID of tubing to replicate the ma...

Re: Analysis Of Trigger Pull Of A Lever Rifle
I find that the quality of the break matters more to me than the actual weight A 4 pound trigger that breaks like the proverbial glass rod feels better than a mushy 2 lb trigger. Remington was the worst for this at least how they treated Canadian customers. I have a feel good story though I bought my 602 back in 87 or 88 lost t...

Re: OT-5.45x39 Anybody have one?
I think its a bit of a "catch 22" situation. Since the non reloadable 5.45 surplus ammo is so cheap right now, no manufacturer has much of a reason to make "aftermarket" ammo. Especially given the guns that are normally chambered in this round, and the purposes they're used, ther...
