Re: A few 30-30 reload questions....
The next time your at a gun show, buy a 50MG slug. Use the slug and a small hammer to flair your case mouths. Just be careful it doesn't take much of a hit to flair the mouths.

Re: Utah to use Model 94s for firing squad execution
They should use the other death row prisoners to clean up the mess and to haul away the body....a real learning moment!!!
At least Utah has the cahones to do it this way...rifle fire the sure thing...

Re: OT - Haz Mat Fee
Just what kind of "special" handling doe a Haz Mat shipping fee get you??? Has there been a surge in explosions or fires since the implication of Haz Mat fees???
Just how does this method of shipping differ from regular shipping?

Re: The Most Effective .22 Mouse Gun Ammo
I think you might be happy with some Win, Power points or Dyna points. They seem to hit harder than any other 22 ammo I've ever shot. They are tough to find but they just might be worth it to ya. The Power points are pretty pricey.

Re: OT: Who Has Ruger 77/22
I have 3 of these fine rifles in different configurations and every one is a great rifle. :D Yes you can use 10/22 mags in them they just don't fit the stocks perfectly. Function fine but stick out just a tad. :) They are very good shooters right out of the box and are sized like a real rifle not do...

Re: I never sell guns, but...
I'd have to agree with most of you that it's not a very good idea to sell off any of your guns. My guns have OUT-paced any gains in the Stock markets or other investments that I've ever seen. I have NO intention of selling any, but their value is shooting right up to the stratosphere compared to the...

Re: Binghamton shooting aftermath.
Putting in a Weapons Ban will not help this sort of thing. There are already Laws against Murder, and they didn't stop the gunman from his whacked out mission.

John Wayne is the ONLY man that I respect, calling himself Duke. There is a gun writer that I won't bother naming that calls himself "Duke" and it bothers me that he does. He has done NOTHING to deserve this nick-name... He'll never measure up to John Wayne in my estimation!!!

Re: HUMOR... a buddy & I actually used to do this
Reverse the situation and see if ya think that would be funny!!! Some golfer comes to your favorite range and starts knocking golf balls from the benches next to you and then walks out on the range to continue his game. If he interrupted your range time like this butt wrinkle did their golfing I'd b...

Re: OT---Support Your Local Gun Buy Back Program
Just how can this be a "Buy Back program"? If the Govt. never owned the guns in the first place???
Could you set up a table outside of one of these and pay $10 more than the Govt. is paying and get some of the better guns before the Cops do???

Mine would have to e the poor, old 30-30 Win. I shot my first deer with one and have had a fondness for it ever since. I still shoot it a lot. I cast and shoot lead bullets almost exclusively for them and have a ball doing it. I've pretty much given up hunting deer with a scope sighted rifle a...

Re: OT - David Spade gives money to Phoenix police
If you Google him you will find out that a shotgun under his bed once saved his life.
He has also given $25,000 to a cops widow if I remember correctly.
I'm changing my view of the guy based on these things he's done for law enforcement!

Re: OT Experience w/Wolf brand .223 ammo?
I've shot a couple of cases of the stuff and have no complaints about it. I shoot it almost exclusively in my mini 14's as I hate looking for the cases. Has performed as well as any other 223 on the market. I'm down to my last 2 case, purchased several years ago for the princely sum of $100-$125 per...

Re: Hoarding brass?
I'm not a fan of 9mm pistols or their ammo but I find myself scrounging up all the 9mm brass I see. I now have 5-6 9mm handguns just because i have so much brass. I even cast for the dang things, but that may be because I'm cheap!!! I have laid in a pretty good supply of most of the calibers I shoot...

Re: POLITICS - Gov Palin's Debate
The main stream media has already determined that Mr. Biden will be the winner!! They will say that Sarah is "not ready, wooden, stilted. Out of her league, etc.etc." I think she'll do just fine and she will score some good points, but with the media (except FOX) already in the bag for BHO...
