Re: 357 coated hard cast loads

Funny you should ask this question. I have a Rossi 357 I just started working with, w/24" barrel. Just started trying out coated bullets. I am using a RNFP from Badman Bullets and crono'd 12.2 gr 2400 in 38 special cases @1635 fps. I tried Lil Gun and 300-mp in 357 cases, but accuracy wasn't there. ...

Re: What y'all payin' for gas?

$2.84. Gas prices are always high here. Stations are quick to raise their prices but kick and scream when it should go the other way. Bought gas at Sams club in Grand Junction yesterday, it was $2.61 and all the stations around town were mid to upper $2.70's. We are getting as my Grandad would say "...

Navy Arms 1892's?

I have an 1892 win clone (24" octagonal stainless)I bought from Navy Arms about 18 years ago, when I thought about cowboy shooting. Ended up with a Marlin cowboy and never shot the thing till the other day. Took some PMC and PPU 357 ammo out and was suprised that the sights were just about on. Maybe...

Re: Nickel plated cases question

Wouldn't think it would be 357 max brass as nickle plated max brass is fairly rare. Even if it was, it would size just fine in a 357mag sizer as thats what I use for my 357max's. I would think more than likely an oversized chamber from whatever it was shot in.

Re: Want to design a Henry Rifle to your specs...?

Yep, 32-20 in a limited run

How about a 50 Alaskan?? Same rim and case length as the 45-70

Or 357 maximum!!!

Last suggestion was also the 35-30. Call it the 358 Henry. Maybe its straight enough some of the states that require a straight case would OK it.

How about a threaded muzzle on the 327?
