I saw him in person once. He did a show at some sort of event here in St. Louis, in the late seventies or early eighties. We were able to stand within just a few feet of him while he did show. I wore an orange t-shirt all day. I shot one doe. Had her quartered and in a cooler that night. We also had the high wind again, same as last years firearm opener.
