Take a look at Loctite 638.I used some to fit the flash suppressor unit on a No. 5 Enfield and it has held for several years.No promises but it is worth a try.

Yes it does appear to be worked and chalcedony makes great "flint" tools.That notch in the center appears to be the center of the geode and looks to be very small quartz crystals.The waxy luster and conchoidal fracture pretty much says it is chalcedony.It is definitely a keeper! Hobie, I a...

Looks like a piece of chalcedony.I can't see any banding in the rock.if there is banding present it is an agate.Chalcedony and agates are considered a semi- precious gemstone,especially if colored nice.

He cut a dove tail in the barrel on my .32 H&R Ruger and put on a white line windage adjustable front sight .I could not see the old front sight but the white line is just the ticket.

As for a source for nitrobenzene I am not sure.Many companies buy the stuff by the drum and I think some people use it as a fuel mix in the place of nitromethane.Maybe someone here with company ties could get a small sample.

If you want the old smell of #9 find some Nitrobenzene and mix in a little.Nitrobenzene is used in a lot of things to mask bad odors as it smells so good!It is also supposed to be toxic in large quantities;whatever that means!!!I guess if you fell in a vat of nitrobenzene you could possibly find it ...

If you can download and install SuperAntiSpyware.Disconnect from the net and run a complete scan of your system.Then re-boot your system and boot to the Safe-Mode.Run another complete scan in the safe mode while still disconnected from the net.Re-boot your system and you should be OK .

I replaced the Hi-Viz front sight on my 5 inch 686 with a Patridge/gold bead.I also replaced the AWFUL v notch rear blade with a standard notch sight(I HATE v-notch rear sights !!) The combination makes a great plate shooter.
