Try one of the brass removers, Barnes is the one I use. Plug the nipple and pore the bore full enough to cover the brass brush and let set over night. It will soften the brush so that it will come out, yes it will take the seasoning out of the barrel but you did that with the brass brush anyways.

2. They have up to a dozen rifles on the floor at any given time, I know of several guys that went to sharps only to walk out with their list of goodies in there pocket and a new rifle under there arm.

I use the blue for masking the stock and barrel when glass bedding a stock, two layers is just right for free floating a barrel.

Any one that would take load data off a gun fourm and and just fire it in their gun shouldn't be reloading in the first place. Each guns chamber and throat are different, cartridges have different OAL and the list goes on and on. Its basic reloading 101.

I have both pistol and carbine barrels, If you should get a 17 be sure to buy plenty of bandaids and remember that in the 17 fireball 1/2 gr of most powders will have about 10 to 15K pressure increase when working in the range of max loads. So you can go from mild to wild really fast.

I have a TC Contender in 17 Hornet and 17 fireball, and yes the hornet is between 17 HMR and 17 Rem. I get 3200 fps with 20gr bullets in the hornet and 3600 with the fireball with 30gr berger.
