Can anyone tell me anything good or bad about the Ted Williams '94? My local shop has one for 300.00 cash(pretty good shape). That's a good price for @ here, but still higher than I would have thought.

That's funny. Ruger collectors like the "plum" color. I assume it's another metal.

I am looking at a Winchester 94 in 30-30 at a local gunshop. The serial # has the date of manufacture in 1972. The receiver has light surface rust all over it, but the bluing looks very bright.
